Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager
Ensure All domain account password is set to never expire. Same goes for the Built-in Administrator
Ensure you are logged in as a domain admin
Log unto DB server install Net framework 3.5 on Database server. Net framework 3.5 is already installed for WS2019
Download SQL 2016 Installer file from Microsoft Run As Administrator
Install SQL Server manager tool
Restart the computer Launch SSMS tool
Click on Ok
Go to the Domain Controller to set the firewall setting for SCCM
Add Windows Management Instrumentation and File and printer Sharing to the Inbound rule
Outbound rule: File and Printer Sharing
Apply gpupdate /force on all Computers or restart
Log into MECM server
Create a folder called WSUS_Content
Select Web Server IIS, Windows Server Update Services
Input the SQL Database server name and check connection
Run Windows assessment dev kit WADK
Once complete. Install windows adk winpe from Microsoft
Verify if an instance was created in Database server. Log into DB Server
Download and run schema extender on domain server
Take Snapshot of all servers
Restart Database and MECM server and login to both servers
D-click on “Splash”
Download Updates.
Create a File and Name it MECM Updates
Input the Database server hostname
